Our Philosophy
At IG, we believe that the true joy of golf is actually PLAYING the game as it was intended. On The Golf Course!
For too long the game of golf has veered into a myriad of endless technical instructional overload leading to countless hours on a golf driving range in an insular environment, making the game harder than it needs to be.
We believe that much of what aspiring golfers are being told and seeing online is either wrong or doesn’t directly apply to each individual. This is why real improvement seems so elusive and people get stuck DOING golf rather than PLAYING golf.
That all changes with Immediate Golf.
why IMMEDIATE GOLF?
Playing golf is something quite different than practicing golf on the driving range. You will encounter situations that can't be taught on the range or on the practice green. On a driving range you are hitting from a perfectly flat synthetic mat all the time which is profoundly limited when it comes to learning all you need to learn to actually play the game.
So it's essential that you learn good on-course skills and the right course strategy to get the most enjoyment out of your golf outings and actually learn to PLAY the game.
That’s why our learning programs are tailored around actual golf course experiences and learning the skills of getting around the golf course in way that is meaningful and fulfilling.
At Immediate Golf, we have a selection of the most experienced and accomplished PGA Certified coaches who have actually played the game at a high level. Through years of teaching and playing experience our coaches will instil the skills you need to enjoy the game of golf forever.
wHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT IMMEDIATE GOLF
From our teachings you can expect:

The conceptual understanding and skills to PRACTICE the game correctly and maximise the effort you put into learning to play the game of golf.

An understanding of how to move the ball around the golf course in way that is fun, safe and fulfilling. The way the game should be!
wHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT IMMEDIATE GOLF
Day 1:
• Travel to Johor at 1:00pm
• Check into Forest City Golf Hotel
• Proceed to Senibong Golf
• 4:00pm witness 2 mid- level handicap players play 3 to 4 holes, explaining the shots, clubs used, why (decision making)
• 6:00pm return to the hotel
(cost wise and logistically it may be better to golf direct to golf and proceed to hotel after golf)
Requires: 2 players and 2 caddies and 3 golf carts, transport Senibong to hotel
Day 2:
• Hotel breakfast (inc in accommodation)
• Before 8:00am travel to Senibong Golf driving range
• Commence at short game area, putting, chip, pitch and sand
• 10:30am Proceed to the golf course and play approx 6 holes from 20, 30, 50 metres
• 12:30pm lunch at Senibong Golf
• 1:30pm Proceed to Senibong Golf driving range
• Make necessary improvements to the techniques of the short game areas
• Supervised practice until 3:00pm
• 3:30pm to 5:30pm Golf swing introduction and experience
• 5:30pm review of the day’s experiences and tomorrow’s routine
• 6:30pm return to hotel
Requirements: 9 holes green fees (cart and caddie), range balls, short game area use, lunch at Senibong, two-way transfer hotel and Senibong
Day 3:
• Hotel breakfast (inc in accommodation)
• Check out from hotel
• Before 8:00am travel to Senibong Golf driving range
• Commence one hour of short game practise and correction
• 9:30am short morning break
• 10:00am driving range session
• 12:30pm lunch at Senibong Golf
• 1:30pm Proceed to the golf course to play approx. 9 holes from distances less than 250m
• 4:00pm return to clubhouse for refreshments and de-briefing/feedback
• Shower/change as required
• 5:30pm return transport to Singapore
Requirements: 9 hole green fees, carts and caddie, one way transport hotel to Senibong, range balls, use of short game area, lunch and refreshments at Senibong
Some costings:
• Return transport SIN JB SIN in a 6-seater van (upmarket) is between SGD$150 and $200 (SGD$70ppax
• Forest City Golf Hotel $85 inc breakfast
• Assume SGD$50 ppax per dayfor golf course usage (that is 18 hole green fee and we will be 9 holes max), should also cover the range balls
• Assume another SGD$20ppax per day for caddies
• Assume SGD$50ppax for refreshments (total for 3 days)
• Assume SGD $80ppax for 4 journeys Hotel to Senibong
